
The Indian Institute for Human Settlements, in collaboration with the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, is organising a fully sponsored three-day residential training programme for working professionals and students on FSM in urban India. The programme will enhance the participants’ understanding of urban sanitation in India and the centrality of FSM in securing the full chain of sanitation, from safe containment, through safe treatment and disposal/re-use.
The programme is targeted at professionals working in the water and sanitation sector in NGOs, private institutions and academia. Entrepreneurs, civil / environmental engineers, urban planners, and architects are invited to participate in the three-day programme. Apart from university professors, students in the final year of their Bachelors’/Masters’ Programme in Engineering or Architecture are also encouraged to apply.
Applications to the IHE-Delft training programme will open on 28 September 2018 will close on 5 November 2018 at 5 PM IST.
