The Public Affairs Centre in Bangalore is looking for a person with good writing skills who will analyse the data collected from the field and prepare reports on the same. While data collection will be done from the field by others, and indeed compiled and prepared, the task for the person is to study the data and arrive at reasoned and logical conclusions that will form the report to to be presented.
For example, we are doing a study on sanitation for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The data is coming in from Odisha and Tamilnadu. The data will be compiled and the job of the writer is to study all the data and write a report on the same with conclusions and findings. Of course, the person will be assisted and supported by senior staff in the organisation.
