Harvard – Ashoka University | Nonprofit Management Program – 2018

The Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy at Ashoka University is excited to invite applications for the 2nd edition of its flagship executive education programme, The Strategic Nonprofit Management – India (SNMI), delivered by Harvard Business School, in partnership with Dasra.
The programme is designed specifically for leadership teams and senior executives working in nonprofits, social enterprises and foundations in India and Global South. It will be offered at the Ashoka University campus in Sonepat, Haryana from 29th July to 2nd August 2018.
Using case studies curated with an India-focus, SNMI explores best practices in non-profit strategy and leadership to prepare participants to build a high-performance organisation. Besides classroom sessions delivered by HBS faculty, the programme also provides participants the opportunity to interact with leaders from philanthropy and the non-profit sector.
Last year, the programme was a runaway success with representation from major non-profits and foundations in India, as well as international participation from South Asia and Africa. As the cohort builds this year, we want to take this opportunity to a wider, more diverse group of social sector leaders!
The last date to apply is 16th May 2018 (Deadline extended from 2nd May). However, admissions are on a rolling basis so we would encourage leaders to apply soon.
The application form can be accessed here: https://www.exed.hbs.edu/programs/snmi/Pages/default.aspx
While the programme is being offered at a subsidised fee compared to other Harvard courses, limited scholarships are also available for qualifying candidates to ensure that we are able to take the programme to a more diverse group of leaders who would not be able to access such opportunities otherwise.
Attached is a brochure with more information along with some testimonials from leaders who participated in the 2017 edition and a poster that you could also share among you networks.
For any further queries, please do feel free to write to me at snmi@ashoka.edu.in.
