An opportunity to work on promotingorganic farming and PGS organic certification (Participatory Guarantee System) process with Indigenous tribal communities across Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and plain land farming communities.
The nature of work: is to mobilise small farmers into group certification, to trainprinciples of organic farming, data collation for organic certification and online data entries.
Discipline: Any graduate/masters interested in organic farming.
Language preference: writing and speaking ability in Tamil, English and Hindi
Work Experience: Preference with prior experience in the said related fields.
Others: should be comfortable to organise village meetings and lots of field trips and travel across Tamilnadu and southern Indian states.
Selection process: through personal interview process and probation will be for 3 months and to be confirmed.
