Ahemdali has been selected for the Changemakers in Education Fellowship (CMIE) offered by the Department of Education, Delhi Govt. There are 46 fellows selected to work for a period of two years in 8 streams, each of which requires Fellows to work with a distinct set of stakeholders and a unique set of challenges.
Ahemdali has been selected to work in the area of Special Education. Work will involve existing Policy evaluation and strengthening inclusive education in the schools of Delhi. The selection process involved a written test and a detailed interview process which evaluated the candidates overall approach towards Education and the stream they have chosen to work. They also tried to understand the solutions offered by the candidate and the way educational ideas are presented to the selection forum.
“The Assignments, Field projects and Internships, Term Papers that I did as part of my M.A. Education programme were also considered while evaluating my candidature” says Ahmedali. “My prior work experience also helped.”
