In the light of recent developments in teacher preparation programs, School of Education, Azim Premji University, is organizing a two-day seminar on November 6 and 7, 2017 in Bengaluru, on “TEACHER EDUCATION CURRICULUM: SHARING EXPERIENCES ON RECENT REFORMS” with the objective of understanding the implementation of the new curriculum reforms. We hope that this seminar will be part of a larger attempt to create and sustain a professional community of teacher educators.
The seminar will focus on the three key areas of B.Ed. program: overall curriculum design; Content and pedagogy of foundation courses; Internship and practicums. The seminar will include presentations by eminent speakers who will present on any of the seminar’s focus areas.
