About CORO: CORO itself is a model of community owned organisation where women and young men from community are at the leadership. Its flexibility and reflexivity has helped CORO to transform from a NGO to a community owned organisation in a true sense. CORO collaborates and networks with other NGOs and CBOs in its work area on issues of common concern.
To deal with issues at macro level, CORO is part of many state, national and international level networks and committees especially on gender and violence.
Currently, CORO is a resource organisation for a flagship programme of the State government on gender sensitisation of students in primary schools. CORO is working in collaboration with the Maharashtra government and UNICEF for this programme titled ‘Meena Raju Manch (MRM)’. CORO has designed intervention, developed training manuals for teachers’ training and delivered training for master trainers. CORO has also designed monitoring mechanism and is monitoring the programme.
In its grassroots leadership development programme, CORO has worked with 180 CBOs/ NGOs in Maharashtra and Rajasthan. The leadership programme is developed to help organizations build their capacities in grassroots leadership on the issue that they are already working on.
Regional coordinator (2 Positions) – These 2 person will be overall responsible for assigned region. Regular field visits to fellows, inputs for improvement, organize trainings and meetings, build campaigns; monitoring etc. will be the major tasks for this positions. Eligibility for this position is minimum Graduation and work experience of at least 3 years in development sector.
Regional M&E Coordinator (1 Position): This person will be responsible for regular field visits to Fellows, inputs for improvement, build campaigns; monitoring, documentation etc will be the major tasks for this position.
Eligibility for this position is minimum graduation and 2 years work experience in development sector. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Sound computer skills, including use of Internet and MS Office
