Functional Area – Data Analytics

Job Summary:

A Data Analyst conducts statistical research analyses by developing research protocols, compiling data, managing data bases, analysing data using specialized statistical computer programs, and presenting research results in numerical and graphic formats.

What is expected?:

  • Setup data capture formats, models, tools and processes
  • Prepare and transform data for analysis
  • Conduct data analysis using IRT item analysis, Rasch model, correlation and regression analysis, reliability and validity analysis, norms development, factor and cluster analysis etc.
  • Generate required Reports including graphs, tables and charts
  • Interpret and convey the results to the appropriate stake holders
  • Work with different set of stakeholders to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact insights across a variety of product areas

Desired Skills

  • Expertise in analysis and modelling of educational assessments and question items
  • Expert in programming for statistical analysis (preferred R expertise)
  • Expert in predictive modelling and analytics
  • Expert in deriving actionable analytics
  • Expert Knowledge of statistical modelling, regression, data mining, SAS/ SPSS
  • Research and provide insight into leading analytical practices, design, and statistical techniques
  • Research, design, implement and validate cutting-edge analytics/ out-come from data to achieve targeted outcomes
