On completing MA in Development from Azim Premji University, I joined Kudumbashree in Kerala. Kudumbashree is a women movement. It is also the State Poverty Eradication Mission of Kerala. Today, Kudumbashree has been recognized as a National Resource Organization and provides support to other states who are interested to replicate some of their best practices. So, I work with the National Resource Organization. I have been here for a long time now. 33 months to be precise. I have evolved professionally over the years. My roles have changed. Currently, I anchor a theme called Resource Development. So I am called a Thematic Anchor for Resource Development. I make handbooks and progress reports and do process documentation and such stuff. Work here is fun. We are a team of Young Professionals, and we have a handful of APUites too! We currently work across 9 states in India. So this job also let me travel across these places, feel the culture, nature, landscape, food and people. It made me realize for real that we are a country of diversity. I have always wanted to work with and for women, and here I just do that. So altogether it is a lot of fun.
